Some individuals come down with various symptoms after taking in certain food types, some of these symptoms include feelings of fatigue, bloating and even digestive system discomfort. The elimination diet or exclusion diet requires a pre-study of your body system for a time span which can range between 3- 6 weeks, after which you must have noted the food substances that seem to be giving your body the irritable symptoms they come down with. During this study period span, you are to completely stay away from these suspected food types that doesn’t go well with your body, this gives your body the time it requires to return back to normal.
The fourth of the 7 chakras is known as the Heart Chakra, Anahata meaning “unstruct/unhurt”. This is the chakra I connect most with being born an air sign (libra). Air energy is associated to the breath, as well as, connection with nature and a less is more attitude. Anahata is governed by transformation and integration, the heart energy center is the bridge between our inner and outer worlds (upper and lower triangles), the heart is balance itself.
The third of the 7 chakras is known as the Navel Center Chakra, the Manipura meaning “City of Jewels”. This is where we find pearls of clarity, wisdom, confidence, and wellbeing. The secondary chakra is called Surya (sun) and it is located at the solar plexus. Manipura is associated with A-type personalities, self-esteem, sense of purpose, personal identity, willpower, digestion, and metabolism. This is also your core of stability “fire in the belly” your willpower which gives you the energy to change, grow, and take action, this is the spark we need to get things going.
The second of the 7 chakras is known as Sacral Chakra, the Svadhishthana meaning “one’s own”. Svadhisthana is known for creativity and sexual and its energy is characterized by flow and flexibility. The function of the sacral chakra is directed by the principle of pleasure, it is located above the pubic bone and it encompasses the genital region. When we are being open and creative in our daily life we open the doors to this energy and by maintaining a healthy sexual life, honoring and respecting your body we can get in touch with our emotions and see if there are any feelings you’re holding onto. When we make a commitment to this process we begin to channel those emotions in a healthy way.
The first of the 7 chakras is known as the 1st or Root Chakra, the Muladhara (root support). Although each chakra serves an important purpose the root chakra is suggested to be the most important because it is the Chakra that connects us to our physical world and governs over our physical energies, giving us a sense of safety and security with other people and ourselves.
It is important to balance this chakra first before balancing the others, from an energetic stand-point, as it is widely believed that this is where we draw our life force energy from and supports every other chakra. Like anything you must have a good foundation in order to function properly.
Talk about synchronicity, an opportunity like this presenting itself at the same time as getting a hormonal diagnosis. Not to mention how connected the chakra system and hormones are. I dug into my saving, released some ideas that were no longer relevant and carved out the time needed to succeed in this course.
I started to notice that most bottled water also usually contains fluoride. The fluoride added to most water supplies is not the naturally occurring variety but Fluorosilicic (Hydrofluorosilicic) Acid, which is captured by the fertilizer industry in air pollution devices. Fluoride is the only drug given at an un-monitored dose to every person regardless of age and health. Studies show that it builds up in the body and calcifies certain tissues such as bones, teeth and the pineal gland. There has never been a single randomized controlled trial to demonstrate fluoridation’s effectiveness or safety, crazy right. Especially considering that Fluoride is known to damage the brain, lower IQ, have neurotoxic effects, cause distress on the endocrine system (hormones and glands), damage bones, cause reproductive problem, and so on.
Welcome to my blog about natural plant-based pregnancy, this has been something that I’ve wanted to write for quite a while now. Natural pregnancy and childbirth are topics that I’m very passionate about. As some of you may or may not know already, but when I turned 21 I was given some pretty heartbreaking news that my chances of conceiving a child were not very high, in fact, I had some cervical issues at the time that required a surgical procedure. The good news is that later down the road I decided to take responsibility for my own health and I did heal. I healed so well in fact, that now have a 23-month-old son who is thriving on a plant-based diet alongside his mama.
