I love it, blog tuesday landed on a full moon, because I believe in synchronicity I want to celebrate this day with some extra bonuses. To start today’s blog has been adapted from my new book “Be The Change: Your Guide to Elemental Growth” so not only are you getting a preview into one of the chapters contents but I have provided a link at the bottom for your free Moon Cycle Calendar.
Use the guide below or get out google to mark each moon cycle in your calendar. There are 13 weeks, 91 days, and 3-4 moon cycles each season. In this protocol, we focus on the full moon and new moon. The simplified moon cycle is 28 days, the same as our hormonal cycle.
The full moon is a time to release and cleanse. You will feel more outgoing, and sexually motivated. The new moon is the time we ask and manifest. We will feel more introverted and likely to dream and do the inner work necessary for elemental growth.

Full Moon: Animals get really active during a full moon this time of year, they don’t have a lot of energy so they conserve it for a time when they can be most productive. This means they are hunting, gathering, building and mating under the Full Moon skies. We have these instincts too and by all means, embrace them. Use this as a time to go after the things you want, gather what you need for weeks ahead and structure your goals with actions steps and by priority.
- Full Wolf Moon: In January wolves begin to get particularly loud and vocal. For them it’s because mating season begins in February, but for us, it’s a lesson to trust what our instincts, heart and mind is telling us. How can you use this time to gain control over your life?
- Full Snow Moon: Usually the heaviest snowfall in February and hunting becomes very difficult. Many would live on bone broth and couldn’t go far from their home. Although we have snow plows, grocery stores and heated vehicles today it’s still a good time to sit in and enjoy the ones you love.
- Full Worm Moon: In March the ground begins to thaw and earthworms reappear, soon followed by the Robins the first sign of spring. For some, this is a season of Lent, when you give something up for 40 days and 40 nights. A time to fast and reflect for spring is just around the corner.
New Moon: If you look up to the sky during a new moon it will seem so dark and empty. So often we feel that way ourselves during this time, more likely to stay in and even animals get super chill around this time. Although you may notice that your senses and sensitivity is heightened during this phase. With a shift of perspective, you can see that the dark sky is actually a blank canvass for us to create our month ahead.

Because people have been asking about it, I wanted to clarify that this book is specifically geared towards embracing change through nature, food and movement – It’s a self-help guide with a seasonal backdrop to help you stay accountable, track your progress and turn pain into power. The feedback has been really positive so far in that a lot of people can relate, whether they’ve suffered from an addiction or not.
We want to hear from you too so my team and I have decided to send full digital copies to those of you who participate by leaving your feedback when we launch.
