One thing that I think is true for all of us, is that we never completely drop the roles that we develop as a child. I am talking about the masks we wear in order to effectively give and get love, recognize how to feel safe, develop a comfort zone and learn how to connect with people. The root chakra stuff that we have to keep coming back too!!!
Codependency is one of those clinical terms, like disassociative episodes or anxiety. Most of the time the original root can be found in family karma – being a child or grandchild of alcoholic. The truth is that the relationships you developed as a child where are often emotionally destructive, manipulative, narcissistic, toxic and full of power struggles so you developed a protective skin that kept you safe, which as an adult no longer serves you. Instead this “skin” is causing you to be unsuccessful, broke, self-destructive, people pleasing, triggered and unconsciously repeat hurtful patterns.
I started to notice that most bottled water also usually contains fluoride. The fluoride added to most water supplies is not the naturally occurring variety but Fluorosilicic (Hydrofluorosilicic) Acid, which is captured by the fertilizer industry in air pollution devices. Fluoride is the only drug given at an un-monitored dose to every person regardless of age and health. Studies show that it builds up in the body and calcifies certain tissues such as bones, teeth and the pineal gland. There has never been a single randomized controlled trial to demonstrate fluoridation’s effectiveness or safety, crazy right. Especially considering that Fluoride is known to damage the brain, lower IQ, have neurotoxic effects, cause distress on the endocrine system (hormones and glands), damage bones, cause reproductive problem, and so on.
Thoughts change as you reprogram your mind and you move from the concept of the affirmation to a real, positive embodiment of what you seek. “All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think we become.” ~Buddha. Our self-talk is programming ourselves for our statements to be true. To see the magic unfold make sure to take 5 to 10 minutes every day to repeat your affirmations – preferably out loud with high energy and enthusiasm. The best times are early morning and right before you go to bed. You need to pay attention to your thoughts so that you can begin to eliminate the ones that no longer serve you, that may have never served you. Affirmations are like seeds planted in soil, poor soil, poor growth - rich soil, abundant growth. The more you choose to think thoughts that make you feel good, the quicker the affirmations work.
It’s easy to put off healthy living habits but taking time to reevaluate our lifestyles is part of life and although it’s hard to get out of old habits, a healthy lifestyle can give you more energy, improve mental health, and can increase your abilities to overcome illnesses.
